ITINERARY ONE

1 night Aberdares National Park, 2 nights Samburu Game Reserve, 1 night Sweetwaters, 2 nights Lake Nakuru National Park, 3 nights Masai Mara Game Reserve, 1 night Lake Naivasha, 2 nights Amboseli National Park, 2 nights Tsavo East / West National Park.

Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdares National Park, an isolated volcanic range that forms the eastern wall of the rift valley, running roughly 100km north south between Nairobi and Thomsons Falls. The park contains a wide range of landscapes - from the mountain peaks that rise to 14,000 feet above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Moorland, bamboo forests and rainforests are found at lower altitudes.

Day 2: Aberdares National Park - Samburu Game Reserve, which offers unique vistas of rounded and rugged hills and undulating plains. Drive from the lush green Mt. Kenya region into the semi-arid area of Samburu where you have a chance of viewing the ‘Special Five’!

Day 3: Full day in Samburu Game Reserve with game drives at your convenience.

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve - Sweetwaters Sanctuary in Mt. Kenya region within which there is a chimpanzee sanctuary where rescued chimpanzees are being looked after by a dedicated team.

Day 5: Sweetwaters Sanctuary - Lake Nakuru National Park, the most visited of the Great Rift Valley lakes, famous for the vast population of flamingoes, a superbly diverse bird population, which includes many migrants, and also a favorite place for travelers to seek the white and rare black rhino.

Day 6: Full day in Lake Nakuru National Park with game drives at your convenience.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley into the most famous game reserve in Kenya, branded the 07th Wonder of the World, with breathtaking vistas, and a vast number of plains game together with their associated predators.

Day 8: Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve with game drives at your convenience.

Day 9: Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve with game drives at your convenience.

Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Naivasha, where you can visit the Crescent Island for a guided nature walk through the beautiful sanctuary, definitely an ornithological paradise!

Day 11: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore - Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds can be seen grazing in the swamps with Kilimanjaro in the background - probably the definitive Kenyan Wildlife photo!

Day 12: Full day in Amboseli National Park with game drives at your convenience.

Day 13: Amboseli National Park - Tsavo West National Park, part of Kenya’s largest national park, Tsavo National Park, offering an interesting variety of habitats and ecosystems ranging from semi-desert, savannah and open plains, to acacia woodland, palm thickets, mountain forest and riverine vegetation, with hills, rocky ridges and outcrops, lava flows and clear water springs.

Day 14: Full day in Tsavo West National Park with game drives at your convenience.

Day 15: Tsavo West National Park - Nairobi, arriving in Nairobi late afternoon.
